Sunday October 11, 2009 was set aside as the ordination service for Bro. Anthony Anderson held during our morning Worship.  Rev. Eugene Jenkins served as the catechizer of the Presbytery (Rev. K. Carter, Rev. J. Broussard).  During the service Pastor Dr. Rev. L. R. Drinkwater gave a short lesson on "What A Deacon is Suppose To Be".  Acts 6:1-4, I Timothy 5:1-12.  The sermon was "Church Members Get Involved, Help The Deacon Be The Best".  Bro. Anderson was on trail for 2 years for the office of a deacon, bring  the deacon board to 12.
