Purpose

The Rev. L. R. Drinkwater Youth Choir is an auxiliary of the Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church that blends the Word of God with gospel music. The Rev. L. R. Drinkwater Youth Choir is specifically focused on youth ages 5-18. These dedicated youth are in training. Youth are presented the dynamics of choir etiquette, enhanced vocals of unity and harmony and the importance of being an attentive and obedient follower of Christ. Through song, precepts and examples, we are prayerful that time spent with this auxiliary will spiritually prepare and structure youth to sing praises unto the Lord while easing their transition to the adult/senior choirs.

We encourage Redeemed’s youth to take an active part in Praise & Worship services, to following the rules and regulations of Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church and always be ready to give back to God their vocal talents and gift of praise through song. This unique worship experience offers the opportunity for youth to fellowship with their peers while learning to sing God’s praise.

It is our heart’s desire that by training RMBC “wee saints” today, they will mature and develop into great saints of tomorrow.
